She’s doomed.
She battled to the top of the entertainment business, fought tooth and nail with competitors, and knew what this meant.

She tried to pull out her hand but couldn’t.
” Ge.” As the atmosphere tensed, Jiang Wanze broke the silence. “Dad is waiting in the room for us.” He looked down at Ye Xian and his brother’s clasped hands.
Ye Xian jerked her hand out of Bo Tingshen’s grasp, her eyes refused to look up from her champagne glass.
“En.” She only heard the man’s low response, followed by footsteps moving away. Bo Tingshen and Jiang Wanze disappeared to an opening at the front of the ballroom.
Ye Xian finally let out her breath.
Cary narrowed his eyes. “Ye Xian, did you do it on purpose? Hold onto boss’ hand for so long?”
Ye Xian: ?????? “It was him that didn’t let go!”
“In your dreams. Him holding onto your hand? Do you think you’re the president of this country?”
“Our country doesn’t have a president.”
Cary: ….
“Right, question: Does the boss really really care about his younger brother?”
Two years ago, Bo Tingshen went abroad to develop his company’s foreign markets. It was during that time that Ye Xian pretended to be a man and joined FOR. So Ye Xian didn’t have many memories of Bo Tingshen. She didn’t have much understanding of the man.

Lin Yan didn’t know why he was even answering Ye Xian. But singing Ye Xian’s shiny eyes, he didn’t want to ignore his question. Anyways, the leader’s background was never a secret.
“In the beginning, Boss’ grandfather didn’t accept our leader. It was after Boss’ approval that his grandfather allowed Jiang Wanze into the Bo family. The Bo family is so regal, so they didn’t want their offspring to be in the entertainment business. But again it was Boss’ support that allowed him to join and follow his dreams.”
Ye Xian nodded. Just like the book said. Although Jiang Wanze had only half of Bo family blood, Bo Tingshen still treated him well.

“Then would he retaliate for the way I clung onto Jiang Wanze?” Ye Xian accidentally spoke her thoughts.
“Ha ha ha!” Cary finally knew why Ye Xian was so absentminded. So it was because he could smell his impending doom! “Of course! But its not retaliation. If boss wants to do anything, it’s as easy as crushing an ant. Don’t think too much, your death is impending.”
Cary took joy in this knowledge, gesturing Ye Xian’s fate with his hand to his neck.
Ye Xian’s champagne spilled a little in her hand. She quickly brought the glass to her lips to cover her fright.
After reading the book, she knew what Cary said was true.
